They are lucky that we had to go with BT because we moved into a new build and they monopolise new connections.
General Comments
BT have really gone downhill, their customer services is a joke. It gives a bad impression when your first point of contact is someone who sounds like Ali G's using slang and unable to speak standard English. It's frustrating when the only people that you can communicate your questions or problems to are clueless and the pass the bucket dance starts and you get conflicting information from different people.
BT cocked up our connection, they called to say I didn't have to be home for the connection, however when the day came, our lines were not working and they tried to charge us for an engineer to come, when he should've come in the first place. Then they only connected the main line so that the phone sockets upstairs did not work, and again, they tried to charge us for an engineer to do a job he should've done in the first place! We live in a new build and the BT engineers have managed to connect the phone lines to wrong flats and instead of correcting their mistake once and for all, they only correct them one by one when a customer complains.
