Good Points

Cheap cover for learner drivers.


Bad Points

Expensive and non competitive when you do pass.


General Comments

Insured my daughter through Quinn-Direct Car Insurance, TPFT on a Peugeot 106 and a provisional licence. Very competitive quote of £500 expecting the premium to increase when she passed her test.
Have been paying £42 pm since January and have just been told that this will increase to £183 pm for the balance of the years premium, another 6 months.
Don't think so! Same cover with Diamond and Admiral £769 for the year.
Moral of the story, cheap insurance as long as you don't pass your test! Pay more initially and save in the long run.
