General Comments

I would advise anyone who is in need of a scooter to avoid mobility one at all costs.
After ordering and paying for my scooter it arrived promptly, no problems there. Then I noticed that the warning lights kept flashing, apparently whilst this is going on the thing wont work.

Well with us whatever we did to rectify this was all to no avail. So what would you do? Yes we called Mobility one, I stated my rights as a consumer to him, which he took umbrage to and said he would arrange for a replacement to be sent.
All fine he kept his word and an engineer turned up two days later with a replacement, great I thought.

He ran over the procedures with us which turned out to be of great help. After he left literally five minutes afterwards, we received a call. By the way he said the engineer has just called me to say the scooter wasn't faulty after all and I was to expect to receive an invoice for the engineer, I then told him that we needed a machine that we could rely on as my poor Wife who suffers with SP MS can hardly walk at the moment and as we were going away on holiday we didn't want to be stuck with a machine that didn't work and would have left my wife stuck.

He conveniently over looked my comments and in his gruff way repeated that we will have to pay for the engineer.

Considering the type of people who need these machines ie the elderly and the disabled, his attitude and lack of sensitivity would suggest he is not the type to be helping people who are infirm and especially carers who have to carry a lot of responsibility and are under a great deal of stress. To some up, I would advise people to go to their local mobility centre and avoid this company.
