Good Points

Effective. Easy to prepare. Fat went from my huge tummy. Weight stays off even after diet. Tastes nice. Easy to maintain. Stomach shrunk so I do get full easily. Helped me look at triggers to my eating - eg boredom, unhappiness, frustration. Drinking 2litres of liquid per day.


Bad Points

Boredom! Headache on 2nd day. Maple syrup expensive and difficult to buy in bulk. Carrying around 2 litres of liquid per day is heavy. I am out and about with my work.


General Comments

I have been trying to lose weight for the past 25 years and have done many diets. The Maple Syrup Diet is the best! I started doing it Feb 2008 and have lost about 3 stones which have come off gradually and have kept off. Most weight dropped from my stomach - Hurray! I have done about 2x 10 day stints and now do the odd day once or twice some weeks. This has now become part of my lifestyle. I combine it with nuts and dried fruit.
