Good Points

The car was waiting for us, it did the job, it didn't break down and it had room for all the luggage.


General Comments

Quite a lot of extra charges loaded on initially, but at least you were aware of these before paying. Car had done well over a hundred thousand k and it showed. It was scraped and dented so you wondered how much previous people had paid for repairs. My specific complaint was a credit card bill that appeared without warning after we returned the car, - to have it cleaned. Apparently it was 'excessively dirty with plenty of sand in the footwells and seats'. We had had the car for nearly 3 weeks, I defy anyone to have a car on holiday and not bring it back with sand in it. If you use the company, buy yourselves a dustpan and brush before returning it - and photograph the interior, exterior and fuel gauge. My argument that we'd actually saved them cleaning bills because it would have had to have been done at the end of each of several shorter rentals was ignored. it felt like they were just looking for extra charges to add. Operates as Lo Cost Auto Rent or Rentforless in Hobart.
