Good Points

Copurteous, as advertised, pick-up and put down options at no extra cost when hiring and returning car. Car in good condition and reliable.


Bad Points

High insurance rates. See also full comment. Would not hesitate to use Enterpise (Chichester) again


General Comments

There are, and have been varying reports about Enterprise Car Rental. This may depend to a large extent on the particular branch of Enterprise one uses. For my part I went to their Chichester, Hampshire, UK branch and received excellent service. There was a full explanation of all the costs involved and a Corsa was ordered, but at the actual time of picking up the car it had turned into a Toyota Prius and there was no extra cost. The car was clean and proved excellent. It was their automatic version and the only fault I could highlight was that no instructiion was given as to the need to depress the footbrake when starting the engine. This caused problems until the RAC turned up and put me right on this point. There is a mandatory £250 deposit but this was returned in full after only a few days fololowing the return of the car. Yes, I would not hesitate to use this branh of Enterpise again.
