Good Points

The meal was cheap it quantity rather than quality is your goal.


Bad Points

Jaded decor, understaffing, dull, overcooked food.


General Comments

The Harvester Hayes was an interesting building with character but needs some redecoration. It looks shabby. Our waitress was a lovely, friendly girl but seemed to be the only one on duty when we went upstairs for lunch. The salad was fresh, if very plain and unimaginative and our chicken was overcooked and dry. The ribs were very good but served with the usual oven chips.

Seems to appeal to the young, cash-strapped and undiscerning diner.
