Good Points

Easy to aim, highly accurate with the peep sight and surprisingly powerfull. Good standard of construction.

Bad Points

You have to drill yourself always to put the safety catch on as it is not automatic.
Remind yourself that the gun is as powerful as a beefy springer even though it feels almost like a toy!

General Comments

Bought this Crosman 2260 Rabbitstopper gun to replace a springer. Use is from a standing position at a range of 10-15metres, target rabbits in my back garden. Could not get the accuracy I wanted ,1/2" groups, even with a 1.5-4.5 Simmons Whitetail classic scope, mainly because of recoil. Using a rest is not practicable as the rabbits need to be targeted quickly. The springer was rated by the manufacturer as a 190m/sec gun.
My experience of the Rabbitstopper is that it is incredibly smooth and easy to fire with no recoil whatsoever. The peep hole sight is terrific and allows very accurate shots and I can now get 1/2" groups without a scope at 10-15mtrs. This means the gun is more pleasant to handle without the added weight and out of balance feel you get with a scope.
Construction is good and I do not feel the plastic parts detract from the gun as they reduce weight. Due to the stress free firing action there is no stress on the gun when fired therefore there is less need for heavy metal.
At 24" long the barrel is much longer than most break barrels and with the sight placed at the end of the breech gives a very accurate line up of the target with high accuracy and power.
Compared with the 190m/s springer the power output was identical. Two shots each fired into two identical paperback books penetrated to 239 pages each, the temperature was only 12deg C, so some room left for the rabbitstopper to better this on a warmer day.
From a stripdown dvd I bought looks easy to work on, if I need to replace seals in the future which are cheap.
