Bad Points

If you have someone noisey above you or next to your scraping their chairs around the apartment because they can't lift them up.

Some may also not like staying on the front side of the hotel where you just see buildings whereas you have a lovely pool view at the back. Didn't bother us though. Depends how fussy you are!

Entertainment is a bit boring but its just what you make it - can go down for happy hour, play a bit of bingo then go somewhere else.

My bath water was orange some nights and brown or green on others, put me off a bit so I just had showers, spoke to reception...they said something about hotel only just opening again for season and pipes being clogged up. Well....I'm still alive anyway(!)


General Comments

Two good sized pools - didn't ever get too busy.

I'd say there were three main areas around the Papantonia Hotel Apartments for drinking/dancing/eating - depending on how far you want to walk, the furthest being Protaras (nice walk along the beach).

Not as expensive as I thought it would be...2 euro drinks in many places and set meal deals.

Very friendly staff, also very helpful. Excellent value for money - got a cheap self catering deal for two weeks. Read a few bad reviews but can't really fault it.
