Good Points

Cheapest way of making a perfect cup of cappa! Looks fantastic on the worktop. Really can appear much more expensive then it is!


Bad Points

The Portafilter bit you put the coffees is a bit flimsey! also like another review says its quite messy after you finish making the coffee! :-)


General Comments

I've used the ES547 Cafe Retro Espresso machine for about 4 years now and it does its job.... I'm sure there are machines out there that make a perfect cup of Cappa with out making as much of a mess as the Kenwood. I'm also sure they will cost much much more then the sale price of £80 I paid so I give the machine top marks. It's also very important to de-scale the machine every three months or the performance of the machine suffers to a standstill. When steaming the milk many noobies don't understand how this is done! You insert the steaming pipe way into the cup to heat the milk. Then ease the pipe out to the top of the cup to maximise the froff on top. The perfect cup of coffee. Overall for a budget machine I'm giving it top marks!
