Good Points

Clear pictures
Easy to use for the first timer and useful functions for the more advanced
Takes AA batteries, so worst case scenario is a stop at the nearest shop to tie you over till you get to recharge the batteries


Bad Points

Doesn't come with a case (In the UK)
Really doesn't like cold weather (ie snow / ice) does Kill the batteries quickly (3-4 pics with normal AA batteries)


General Comments

Bought the Samsung Digimax A7 version as a replacement for my old A6
Takes great clear pictures, Put it the test to see what it could do, nicely impressed
Although somewhat bulky compared to the cameras nowadays, this is a definite bonus when I want to take pictures at night with a long exposure
Some have mentioned the battery life, Using a new 256Mb SD card + new/charged 2650mA/h batteries, ran out of memory (approx 96 pics), batteries showed no signs of dying.
