Good Points

Very good engine and safe handling, Seats and general driver environment is spot on for long distance. Economy is good for such a large car. Excellent climate control system, excellent sound system - useful options. Nice touches - such as foot lights and bonnet air assistance opening.

Bad Points

Ride can be a bit harsh on some roads. Some clunkiness of doors and some fittings. But please look beyond those as it is a very very good car

General Comments

Compared to rivals - quite simply the best value car in it's class. I swapped an O5 plate Honda Accord for this Saab 9-5 Vector Sport 1.9 TID and I am absolutely delighted with it. It is everything one can expect from a car in this sector - which is much more than I can say for the accord. Excellent seats, very good ride and excellent handling - it corners "flat" now it has the Aero suspension set-up. The climate control is "Set and forget" - it really looks after you - even puts the heated seats on automatically - if you progran it to. Economy is good for the size of car, I get 46mpg average and it's an Auto - so pretty happy!
