Good Points

Rugged construction, great strap design, extra thick foam for safety.


Bad Points

A little too large for trampoline, deteriorating foam releases residue.


General Comments

I got the 20-ounce fabric Pro Pad version. Overall a very rugged, nicely-made product, but I was disappointed with several problems that should not be present in an expensive premium trampoline pad.

I carefully measured my trampoline frame and purchased the correct size pad, but it ended up being 8 to 10 inches too large in diameter. This causes some problems with buckling when secured and may make it less safe than a properly fitting pad. The pad seemed to fit a little better after a season, presumably because the fabric is broken in and relaxed a little.

In less than one season the foam started deteriorating and large amounts of white powder comes out of them every time kids bounce. They come in covered with it and it certainly can't be good to breathe into their lungs.
