John Lewis products are generally good quality. your guests tend to trust them. you can select items for your list in the store and online.(like many shops)
Bad Points
Shocking delivery times - Despite JL taking money from our guests before our wedding, and setting an 'early' delivery date of 4 weeks after our wedding, nearly one third of our items were 'still not available'. We live in central London - are they telling me that they have not had white sheets in central London since our guests purchased them over 2 months ago??
They have the cash already - they don't care about delivering service.
I am sorely disappointed and cannot recommend this service to anyone. Go to House of Fraser.

We went to John Lewis because of their reputation for value and reliability. Wewere sorely disappointed in their wedding gift service.
