General Comments
We arrived at the Golden Sands site for the may day bank holiday weekend having travelled for 5 hours. On our arrival we went to reception to book in. We were told our standard accommodation was not yet ready. But if we wanted we could upgrade to a 4 star 3 bed room caravan. We paid the money and got the keys expecting a pretty nice caravan. All that i can say is i would hate to see the standard caravan. The van itself was not too bad but the kitchen was ill equipped the grill didnt work properly, the previous occupant had left lots of hair everywhere very kindly. There were broken light fittings. The duvets were very dirty just not what you would expect for 4 star. The club was so packed that you had to be there for 6pm. And if you managed that people were queuing single file at the bar for twenty minutes just to get a drink. The restaurant was very expensive. £7.99 for lasagne. The shop was also very expensive. The pool had unisex changing rooms. they did have cubicles but this is hardly the point. The plot next to the caravan was empty but unfortunately no one had moved the legs and metal hooks from the ground so these were sticking out very dangerous.
