I have had my Mini Cooper for 4 years and have had it from new. Although I still love it I have had problems with it that you just don't expect from a £16,000 BMW! It has had 2 new steering colums, a new radiator fan and it rattles like hell. I also have the white wheels which are a nightmare to clean! The bracket on my exhaust has rotted and there is a hole developing in the exhaust box. I have only done 35,000 miles. All I can say is thank god the servicing is free for another year! Ah and my brakes knock but BMW can't find the reason why. I also find BMW (as always with dealers) unbelievably expensive. They charge you a fortune just to look at the car. But at least they wash it for you when it's done!
