eMusic is the best digital music download site maily because...... THE MUSIC IS AMAZING!!!
There is a huge, really diverse range of music to discover. The layout and reviews etc. make even the most obscure of genres easily accessible. Since becoming a member there a year ago, my whole perception of music has changed. There are many styles and genres that emusic has opened my ears up to which I just wouldn't have appreciated before.
It may not have many of the mainstream artists, but it has something so much better than that - some very underplayed tunes which NEED to be heard. There's a whole website full of gold out there.... go fish!
