I called THEM all the time - no one aplogised until I actually cancelled my order.


General Comments

Ordered a three-seater leather settee and the two-seater from the Kiev range on 7th February 2009 and was told it would be maximum 28 days til delivery. I called on the 28th day to be told that my order had been held up until 7th May due to supplier issues. I was told that I would have the suite by the 7th May. I called Homebase again on the 6th as no one had called me to arrange delivery and was told that I would get a phone call on the 16th June to let me know when it would arrive, not that it would actually be delivered on that day. The person that I spoke with apologised and immediately asked if I wanted to cancel the order which I said an emphatic YES to. He told me that they get emails daily from their suppliers delaying deliveries.

Aside from the person that I spoke to the customer service has been appalling. ALL communication has been from me to them. VERY disappointed as now back to square one and 12 week lead times from the likes of DFS, etc.
