When it worked it worked well.

Casing was fragile. It blew fuses repeatedly on start up. Internal part broke out of warranty after minimal use. Makita customer service non existent.

I assumed the Makita name on this product would be a sign of quality.
Unfortunately, the name is stuck on an Italian made product which has shown poor reliability and failed completely just out of guaranty.
Makita's customer service proved poor too. They don't reply to emails for weeks, and only did reply when I emailed repeatedly. Spares are expensive and are only supplied by third party dealers so my machine after two years use (used once in the summer each year) has now become a pile of expensive junk and been replaced with a Nilfisk Pro washer.
