Bad Points

uh ...
Well, the big V-twin is not too smooth at low rpm.
All big V-twins have a breathing problem, drawing from the airbox arythmically, so that, at certain rev's and temps, one cylinder can run short of GO. Not above 5k rpm, though.
This bike fits big guys very well. I am 6 foot and happy on it.
Looks kinda ugly without the aftermarket fairing lowers.
Bike has a bad habit of eating tuner cars.

General Comments

Suzuki SV1000S engine has genetics from WSB late 1990s - big twin, light flywheel and no counterbalancer all shout SPIN ME!
Very good ergo's - I have done 650 miles/day, and yet have great control on track days.
No mechanical problems, even though I commuted through a rainy winter on it, and now have 16K miles on the odo.
Since I bought the black one, I just trimmed the rear fender off, and ...very clean result at almost no cost. (bought flush signals).
Suspension and frame and engine are all very at home on track, and on the long roads.
I love the seat. I love the way the air breaks around the fairing.
Massive dual-on large-reflector headlights are a fantastic safety feature - no one has ever turned in front of me! It's a ten for the money. Engine pulls hard everywhere and has that utterly intoxicating gear whine, like the gear driven cam shafts on racing V8's. Handling and comfort hit their marks.
