Seems to weigh a fair bit, again once on the move you don't notice.
Can be a bit juddery at low revs
Goes through rear tyres a bit sharpish.
General Comments
Despite a design nearly 14 years old, its a quality design that continues to excite and provide unmatched touring ability and thrills with its sheer power. Breathtaking speed, comfortable, the HONDA build quality that is always quoted is true when it comes to the honda blackbird. Have covered around 6 k on mine since moving from a VFR Vtec, the rush of speed is simply awesome. I think it makes a real statement and fellow blackbird onwers without exception always wave and sometimes race me ! Megga smooth, good handling for a big bike, plenty of pillion space.
