General Comments
I've also just had engine problems with my 08, it started at just over 5k mile, long story short it turned out to be a valve guide!! i'm shocked really and didn't expect that from what i thought was a bulletproof motor, i've also picked up on a couple of threads on R1 forums elsewhere...worrying indeed.. Yamaha YZF-R1 still is an awesome bike though...
