Good Points

Large OHV powerful engine one of the biggest in a walk behind mower, great collection, well made. Looks great.
Protection against jamming the blade in the ground and stalling the engine was important to me as the acre is rough.


Bad Points

Plastic tab on the collection bag has broken off due to me in a rush to empty. Has been well used and thats the only fault.


General Comments

Hayter Ranger 53 Pro Lawnmower Reviews is heavy and well made, this has a large powerful over head valve engine.
Ive had one two years now and use it to cut 1 acre, yes I know I should buy a lawn tractor. I get lazy and let the grass grow but this thing cuts the lot. I looked around at all sorts before I bought it, Honda, Rover, what ever, this thing came out as a brute of a thing and is more than man for the job. The grass collection is excellent, I use it as a vacuum cleaner on the lawn. Agree what G M has said.

Once I get the grass down to a reasonable length, it whizzes along. I dont notice it being heavy on fuel.

I would buy one again.
