“The Forbidden Corner much better than I expected! ...”

Written on: 04/05/2009 by Cazbar

Good Points
We weren't bored for a second - and because there was no particular path to follow you didn't feel like you were queueing for anything.

Bad Points
The fake toilets in the car park. My youngest was desperate! Not a place to take and under 4 and an older braver child on your own - quite scary in places for the younger ones. This isn't a bad point - just a tip.

General Comments
The Forbidden Corner much better than I expected! Things round every corner, and all felt like it was well loved by the owners. No plastic statues here, everything was solid, well made, well maintained and felt like it belonged in the landscape. All a bit 'Lord of the Rings'/Narnia. My youngest (3) had a bit of a 'do' in the underground tunnels, but once he went round again, said that it was 'good' and he raced round it all. Just one tip - don't say to any member of the party 'ok you just go through there and we'll meet you at the other end' - unless you are SURE where the other end is - we lost my ten year old for quite some time - great 3 hours even in the slightly blustery day we had.
