Good Points
its 4 years old and so far only one part has had to be renewed it is also suprisingly sparing on the petrol compared to most other lawn mowers that i know of.

Bad Points
after a while the self propel seems to be come slow and rather sluggish but i aint sure if thats where its been used so much or if its where i have got used to its speed

General Comments
I use our Mountfield SP470 on a regular basis and i have had it for at least 4 years and it still works like its brand new, not only that but if its 4 years old and is still working, when you compare it to most other lawn mowers they have often stopped working by now. So in my opinion the SP470 is a truly reliable machine.
