General Comments

My previous bike was a Fireblade and unless i rode like a nutter it was an unsatisfying ride (unless i was on a track)

I sold it 3 years ago and bought Honda CBR1100XX Blackbird a Brilliant bike, fast smooth and comfortable, looks good too.

Have had mine for 3 years now, it handles well but you have to work it. which to me is more enjoyable than riding a sports bike on the road
It is a big heavy bike to manhandle but once on the move it is very balanced (able to hold its own in a slow riding competition with the iam)
The brakes are very good, if you didn't know they were linked, you wouldn't notice.
The bad points are build quality which doesn't seem to be as good as it was years ago, having said that if you look after it, washing and polishing it regularly then it does stay pretty smart.

The tyres Bridgestone BT 021's are good but being dual compound seem to wear on the edges more than the middle, especially on the front if you ride hard in the corners
Overall one of the best bikes i have owned
