General Comments

I will never, ever, fly with Iberia again. It is by far the worst airline. We were denied boarding in Madrid leaving for Boston well in advance of our flight. We were told we weren't early enough, that we had to check in 2 hours before the flight. We had been at the airport being shuffled from one desk to another, having counters close as soon as it was our turn, for hours. We were then told we had to pay for another ticket if we wanted to fly standby the next day. I was told it wasn't their problem, too bad. I was flying alone with my daughter. Our flight still had more than an hour before boarding when we were told this. Obviously the flight was overbooked, as all their flights are, and they know that foriegners are at their mercy.
On our return flight the next day, one of the flight attendants yelled at my daughter for asking for a vegetarian meal. He literally threw her meal at her. it's not worth a cheap flight.
