Nothing to do with the kitchen but one of the fitters took pity on me and went to the chemist to get something for my flu.
Bad Points
Very very bad Customer Service with the exception of one man who after a couple of weeks was moved to another department.
General Comments
i cant believe that people are still using Kitchens Direct as i thought they would have gone out of business ages ago. They caught me at a vulnerable moment. I had flu, the salesman told me he was really a fashion designer, and yet I signed all the papers and paid up.
I had ordered a ceramic sink, a white plastic was supplied and it took nine months to get it replaced . They tried to convince me that the plastic was a new type of ceramic. The taps were not fitted correctly and were leaking and started to come away from the sink
.Customer services is non existent. Staff, if they have not left, are moved around so that you seldom get to speak to the same person and have to spend ages relating the same story over and over.
My kitchen was expensive, looks reasonably good, but dealings were so stressful with KD that I would never recommend them. The fact that you pay everything up front makes it even more difficult to get satisfaction.( How stupid can we be to do such a thing.? At least if you still have to make a payment you are more likely to get the job done properly)
