My money was finally refunded

Lack of customer care and service.


General Comments

Ordered goods from Toys R Us for a present and paid extra for delivery. Chased up delivery and was told "they tried to deliver but no response and card left". This was an absolute lie as we were working in the front garden at the time they stated and there was absolutely no attempt to deliver and no card left. I cancelled my order as I was not prepared to deal with a company who resorted to lying to cover up their lack of service and as the goods were needed for the following day I purchased another present from a local retailer. Despite ToysRUs being totally responsible for the failure to deliver and still retaining the goods they refused to refund my money until the items were back on their shelves in their warehouse. Delays were incurred and finally my payment was refunded but I am so fed up with their inflexible attitude and lack of customer care that I will not be dealing with them again!
