We booked Gilbert Giggles (http://www.gilbertgiggles.co.uk/) for our 5 year-olds birthday party. He kept 20 other 5 year-olds captivated for the best part of 2 hours with his zany humour and activities. He was able to keep the children engaged all the while and memorised all of the children's names. I have been to other children's parties where the "entertainment" thinks they can get away with playing loud music for two hours with a couple of games of musical chairs and musical bumps, with minimal interaction with the children. GG is at the other end of the spectrum. We live in south London and I don't know how far he will travel but I would highly recommend him.
