General Comments
I order an office chair from Furniture@work. I started to suspect this wasn't going to be a pleasant experience when I did not receive any confirmation of order email from them, only from my credit card company to tell me the money had been taken from my account. I had to then make approx 10 calls to the company to ask them first to give me confirmation that they had my order on their system and then to find out when I could expect my order. Each time I spoke to a different person on their 'helpline' who told me anything from "the order has not been registered" to "it will be there no later than monday". I waited in for 5 days the first week with no show. Then Monday came and went with no chair. Fed up with calling them, I emailed them using their 'contact us' form. I did this twice with no reply so went back to calling them.
It was only when I mentioned the word CHARGEBACK as in "if you do not deliver my chair pronto, I will call my credit card company and get them to refund my money" did they finally respond.
My experience was awful and I regret using them. I wish I had read all these reviews first. If you are considering buying from them DON'T. It's not worth the hassle, even if they do seem cheap with a flashy website. Don't be fooled!!!
