Bad service, lack of communication on very important policy information


General Comments

I've had Gladiator insurance for past two years - initial price very competitive. However, from what I am led to believe, Gladiator automatically renew (or stop) insurance 24 hours before the actual expiry date, I wasn't told about this and was effectively uninsured for 24 hours. Completely unacceptable. Unfortunatley, the panic of having 'no' insurance I had no real choice but to renew with them again.

A few months later, a driver hit our van - no fault of our own. Gladiator was totally unhelpful - despite being fully comp - lost count of how many companies/people we spoke to as they are brokers. We ended up going through the third party insurance who couldn't have been more helpful. (Swiftsure).

To top it off they have quoted me a figure twice as much as any other competitor...
