Good Points

The basic internet banking is efficient and good value.


Bad Points

Managing a Euro account is very difficult. The call centre staff seem unfamilar with the concept of currenct accounts and they are very slow to give real time information. Transaction charges are very high. Local branch staff are rude and unhelpful.
We also had to take a complaint to the Financial Ombudsman a few years ago (we had a partial victory!).


General Comments

We are happy with our Natwest Business Account sterling accounts with the basic online package. Except for paying in cheques, we don't need to visit a branch or speak to anyone, which is just how we like it. For our Euro accounts, it's a very different story; time-consuming, frustrating and expensive, which is why I'm now shopping around.
