Bad Points

Expedia has grown too large. This is the typical business failure story - they grow to the point they forget what got them there in the first place - CUSTOMER SERVICE! There is none anymore with them.


General Comments

I used expedia several times and because my vacation went without a hitch, so did the reservations. But, several days ago, we could not get to our flight out of Ft Lauderdale due to fires in southern Florida closed the main and only highway to get there from the west coast of Florida. I called and the rep said he would do everything to help me including canceling and crediting the Ft Lauderdale flight. I thanked him over and over again. BUT... I never go the credit for the flight that was impossible to get to - I just got the run around. What makes it all even worse is that every time I called, I was on hold for at least 30 minutes or more! This is inexcusable. I WILL NEVER USE expedia EVER AGAIN. There are too many competitors wanting their business and deserve it.
