General Comments
I HAVE BEEN A CUSTOMER OF IDEAL WORLD FOR MANY YEARS AND HAVE PURCHASED MANY ITEMS FROM THEM. WHEN EVERYTHING IS GOING GREAT THERE IS NO PROBLEM BUT AS SOON AS AN ITEM IS NOT DELIVERED, THAT IS WHEN THE COMPANY IS TOTALLY USELESS. THEY HAVE A RUBBISH CUSTOMER SERVICES WHO ONLY ANSWER E-MAILS EVERY 7 DAYS, (I WILL NOT RING THEM UP AS YOU ARE ON THE PHONE FOR AGES AND NOTHING IS SORTED OUT) THE ONLY ANSWER YOU GET IS, IT WILL GET THERE BE PATIENT.
MY WAY OF DEALING WITH THEM IS THIS.
1) WRITE TO THE TOP MAN (HIS NAME IS ON THEIR WEBSITE) AND SEND A COPY TO THE CONSUMER PROTECTION SERVICES . I DO THIS EVERY TIME I DO NOT GET A SATISFACTORY ANSWER FROM THEM, I ONLY E-MAIL THEM ONCE AND GIVE THEM TIME TO REPLY AND IF NOTHING IS SORTED OUT I SEND THE LETTERS OUT.
YOU CAN REST ASSURED THEY WILL BE IN TOUCH VERY VERY QUICKLY AND EVERYTHING IS THEN SORTED OUT.
I HAVE TOLD THEIR TOP MAN THAT IT IS DISGUSTING THAT YOU HAVE TO RESORT TO THIS AND IF MY STAFF WERE LETTING HIS COMPANY DOWN THEY SHOULD BE SACKED.

I agree with this review because...I am experiencing exactly the same problems. I have ordered goods in the past and have not had a problem but if goods are not received then customer service is shocking. Tonight I spent at least 20 minutes on the phone and I am no further forward. On May 14th I went through the automated service, was then placed on hold to speak to a customer adviser and was then told to phone back in another two hours. I will definitely be taking your advice .
