Good price, quite good battery life.
Bad Points
Low quality with blurred focus point (!), slow processor, and all buttons situated for right hand operation only. Left hand is made redundant on this camera.
General Comments
The Canon EOS 1000D has good ergonomic, lightweight and easy to use buttons.
