I can see the good points of Google Street view - for example it's brilliant if you have forgotton the name of a restaurant or a shop, but you know where it is. It's also great when you are looking for directions to places, it helps so much to see what your surroundings look like! There are millions of other uses i can think of too (and it's quite exciting to go on and just look for your own house). However i can also see some negatives. I understand why many people have requested to have their houses removed from the site as it's also a pretty huge invasion of privacy. I think the benefits outweigh the negativbes and it is another fantastic offering from Google - we shall see how the privacy battle progresses!
