If you want something outstanding - extraordinary see Wicked Mary Poppins and We Will Rock You.
The Lion King just had no effect on me at all. It was so boring.
They could have at least improved on the setting and the scenery, the stage is big enough for that.
The opening scene was good with all the animals, that's why I gave it a 2. It should have carried on like that.
But with Wicked Defying Gravity scene and Mary Poppins flying out into the audience, now that is a WOW!Not something you would see occasionally at all. We Will Rock You was heaps of fun with all the special effects, singing and dancing.
I love the film The Lion King and I was so looking forward to seeing this.
I wanted to leave but stayed to see if they made an effort.
Such a big big disappointment.
