Good Points

The most accurate air rifle I have ever had at 50 yards. It is light weight and easly to handle. The magazine cycles smoothly.

Bad Points

The barrel is free floated inside the shroud and you can hear it moving when you shake the rifle. It is kind of unnerving and It is hard to believe it shoots so well.

General Comments

This review is on the new Daystate Huntsman Classic in .22 Caliber. I have had this rifle for 9 weeks and had a change to ring it out, so here are the particulars. This is a new rifle recently released by Daystate; it has the new Harper MK4 valve and a classic stock which makes the rifle look more like a traditional firearm. It is only 38 inches long with a 15.75" factory shrouded barrel and is extremely quiet (backyard friendly) and weighs 6.0 lbs. It has a manual safety and satin finish; it comes with the one Daystate 10 round magazine (I purchased 3 magazines) at $99 dollars each, not cheap! I have a 50 yard range set up on my 7 acres. Here are some 5 shot groups at that range. 14.3 grain Crosman Premiers = 0.328" (avg 866 fps & 23.3 fp); 18.0 grain JSP = 0.512" (avg 788 fps & 24.8 fp). The wind was calm and almost perfect conditions.
