Good Points

Easy to use, good picture quality, reasonably priced.


Bad Points

Very short battery life (about 25 pictures maximum) and quite bulky.


General Comments

Samsung D75 is an ok basic camera which for the price is adequate in all area's except battery life. The quality of the 7MP pictures is clear and crisp with great point and shoot pictures, however when flash is required it takes a long time to process the picture. Many options through the menu to fully personalize the camera's characteristics and the easy to use set-up menu's are a positive. I find the video camera very grainy and drains the battery as does the ASR (Anti-shake reduction) mode. The night mode is near impossible to use due to the steady nature of the person taking the picture, even a slight move will send the picture in a frenzy of tube lights. Recommended for those who just want to snap a few moments on days out and parties but not really for those who demand a bit from a compact camera.
