Good Points

Spacious, Comfortable, Reasonably priced and fairly low running costs in comparison to other vehicles of similar sizes from other manufacturers, I acheive on rural roads and motorways in excess of 45mpg. Not ugly to look at with smart design and still modern even 14 years on.

Bad Points

Electrical niggles (central locking, heating and Lights), Rust prone rear wheel arches and bobbling zetec/cosworth style alloys.Volume control on stereo is too easy to knock and lack of front cup holders.

General Comments

I like the overall design of the vehicle. I have three children and a dog and the boot provides ample space for the dog as well as reasonable amount of luggage. The rear seats fit comfortably three child seats each having adequate leg room. The front is well thought out. Everything needed by the driver is close to hand and easy to find. All controls are logically thought out and easy to use, the driving position is adjustable to almost anyones needs. I do find however that the stereo's volume control can easily be knocked by the front passenger and another grind is the lack of cup holders in the front. Otherwise Ford Mondeo 2.0 Zetec is an attractive family car.
