Good Points

Small, stylish, light, and tri-band. Buttons are small, but amazingly enough, I have no problem using the phone as a high-speed typing device.

Bad Points

Had a problem with the screen fading occasionally, but took it in and they fixed it for free in 1 day.

General Comments

I have had no problems with my nokia 8890 phone, except for the chap at the Carphone Warehouse, who didn't know how to remove the battery cover, and just yanked it off, and hence, it is now a bit loose. There is a small button on the side that needs to be pressed for the cover to slide off as intended. (moron)

I don't think the button you're referring to is intended to open the battery cover - it's for the Infra-red.

What a ******* of a reply?? The button he's refering to is on the right side of the 8890 and is part of the chrome line, and it's directly under the black top bit at the back. So there u go, stop pushing the infrared he doesn't like it. I wonder how many people just yanked it off because it's a really concealed button.

    Cheers
