General Comments

We recently travelled with Thomson Fly to dominican republic 22/03/2009 for a cruise.
We had travelled with thomson previously on many ocassions however this flight was totally inadequate.
We booked our holiday 16 months before our departure date and paid full price.
We made sure we upgraded our flights so that we had prebooked seats to guarentee we sat together and so my wife could have gluten free meals as she suffers from coeliac.
However when we arrived at the airport we had a six hour delay, there was no representative for thomson we were just given £8 each of meal tokens.
When we eventually boarded the flight we were not sitting together but I was put behind my wife.
Things got even worse when we discovered that they had not recieved the request for my wifes meals on the outbound flight.
The staff assured us that a meal would be there for my wife on the return flight.
We got speaking to a couple on the flight and they told us that they had booked the same holiday as us only three days before and had got it at half the price but yet they were seated together on the flight.
Needless to say my wife did not have a meal waiting for her on the return flight.
Its unlikely that we will travel with thomson again as obviously they do not value our custom.
