Overall Rating
- Value for money

Scenery. Children's activities(if the prices do not increase). No cars allowed on site. Wildlife. Swimming pool is free which is great as there is always something to do. Shops are not too expensive. Children's play areas are very good. Boat/Pedlo hire is very good and reasonably priced. Sky TV /DVD in woodland lodge.
Bad Points
CP are happy to take 55 pounds for your dog to go but provide next to nothing in return - they do not even clean the villa for you on departure so i am a little lost as to what the money is for! Needs more (larger) exercise areas for the pooches.
I personally feel the accommodation is overpriced. People will, however, pay it time and time again because they want to holiday here due to the wonderful surroundings. Just be careful as to what you pay for. I wouldn't book the Aqua Sana again or too many kid's activities. I would bring my own bikes and food for the stay. I would restrict eating out to once or twice. I wouldn't bring my dog again.
General Comments
Center Parcs, Elveden Forest have Beautiful surroundings, loved the wildlife - rabbits, squirrels and deer.Nice decor in lodge but when you look closer it is dirty.stains on rug, they want you to clean when you leave. Staff grumpy. With exception of 1 or 2, the staff don't crack a smile. Accommodation OK but i expect more for the money. There is no entertainment (evening) unless you pay for it. I did and it was absolutely rubbish. If you do book evening shows don't expect much, it's similar to what i should think you'd get at butlins - free! If it wasn't for the setting, i would not entertain at holiday at CP.If i do go again, i will purely pay for accommodation, take my own bikes (hire expensive), food etc., and just enjoy the countryside. I pre-booked activities for my child so was restricted. Missed quite a few things-hence lost quite a few pounds! Took our dog as she is young and didn't want to leave her. That was a mistake. I loved having her with me but that's not the best thing for her. She would have been happier with a friend. Dogs are not allowed off the lead with the exception of a very small exercise area which is the size of my lounge. I am surprised that CP couldn't afford a larger enclosed park area where controlled dogs are allowed off lead too. There is more than enough woodland to chose from and it wouldn't detract from the countryside experience. Activities i would recommend are the Native Adventure (3 hours of supervised play) costing 15GBP, let's make it and all artwork activities where you can join in too. It's just the evening, adult entertainment which was poor. The restaurants are great also. They have play areas for the children which is super. I wasn't impressed with Aqua Sana, felt the staff let it down - a bit grumpy. Overall it was a nice holiday. Would have been nicer if it hadn't cost so much tho

Centre Parcs say that is was due to refurbishment, I beleive it was due to labour costs at this quiet time of the year. Albeit still great choice in the eating department.
