Good Points

it is very easy to use and you can stop AVAST if u want to with a clik of the icon in task tray and u can pause seperate items and stop them too


Bad Points

Scan takes Ages but it's worth it Scan stops if it finds anything


General Comments

Well here i was surfing the internet one night when my PC crashed and failed to boot into windows i tried about 7 times and i could not login to windows (would log me off after logging me in)and i was using malwarebytes anti malware anyway i took the comp into get fixed it cost me $263:25 i paid the money,got the comp back and was told Avast will be the best(from friend not the comp shop) so i downloaded it and also paid for pro version anyway i did boot scan of this comp and OMG it found over 2,200+ root kits; trojans; worms; and trojan horses; 90% mostly root kits any way this was supposed to of been fixed by the comp shop well they obviously didn't clean it and fix it did they? any way i let the scan finish and it was clean i then rebooted the comp then did another scan absoloutely nothing was found (AMAZING) AVAST is the best i have come across so far i reccomend it to anyone it even beat the so called professionals at the shop (2,200+ virus's etc) what a joke Avast is the best out there thats all im saying :) so far Avast has detected several nasties but they have been sent to chest for later deletion this is by far the best on the internet!!!
