I purchased my first pair of Geox trainers for my toddler a few months ago. I had absolutely no complaints about the visual styling, or fit and was seduced by the "respiratory" feature. They seemed to keep my daughters feet dry - even when she splashed in puddles on occasion. However, after a recent shopping trip to replace the outgrown Geox trainers, my daughter wore home her new shoes (not Geox) and I put the old Geox trainers in the new shoe box. I left them there overnight. The next morning, I removed the Geox trainers and noticed circles of mould growing on the inner sole. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the mould circles corresponded directly with holes/pores on the under sole of the shoe that had become blocked with tiny stones.
