Oh my God this does not bode well for us after reading all your reviews. We bought our sofas in the SCS Sofas January sale. the ones in the showroom was perfect but when ours arrived it was not. One of the recliners has never worked and we are waiting for a part for that. The upholstery has sagged and is lumpy (its a leather sofaa and looks like it is about 10 years old after just 2 months of use). The seats do not line up properly and you can see the recliner mechanism because there are such big gaps. We have made several phonecalls to complain and we are told the manufacturer will get back to us each time, but they don't.!! Last time we called they had no record of our previous call! Nobody has apologised for the problems. Going to give them a week then going to citizens advice. We just want our money back and wish we had kept our old leather dfs sofas which were still in good nic after 10 years use. We expected much more for £3000.

put everything in writing and keep a copy.....get names of people you speak to.. how are you paying..... if by loan contact the loan company...how was your loan sold to you. phone then ask for section 75 as the goods are faulty they will act on your behalf and keep them informed every step of the way....some of the cmpanys scs deal with for the money side of things are not ccovered by the fsa but are covered by a trading license...
check out sites for how a loan should be sold to you...
see if there is anything in there that can help you ...were you given all the advice before the loan was sold to you etc...
trading standards site also.. check it out...this is different from selling loans and only deals with faulty goods....need to look at both
no scs do not want to deal with you as they should. this company has been one of the worse that i have ever dealt with in my life..... it took me months and months to get my money back so do not give up.....keep going if you feel you are right....
