I graduated from University only 7 months ago... and since i began my time there i had a student overdraft with the Abbey of £1500.... once i graduated they automatically (without my say so) upgraded my OD to £2000, or the graduate OD, as they call it. Because of the current climate i have found it difficult to find a job, and am currently unemployed. Now the Abbey has sent me a letter demanding the entire £2000 back immediately, or i should cut the card up and face legal action. I have been forced to move back home with my parents, and am still looking for work. Now i reiterate, i only graduated in September, is it legal for them to demand the whole lot back, even though they KNOW i am an unemployed graduate??? They know my situation. Very unfair!
