Good Points

MOST cabin crews are very friendly.
I felt very comfortable on the plane.


Bad Points

None, other than that horrible stewardess.


General Comments

I've always used Air New Zealand( for flights from Melbourne to Los Angeles, and 95% havre found the service quite excellent.

My last travel was December 2008: the long-distance flight from LA to NZ was excellent, and because I was on the plane during New Years the cabin crew decided to make that particularl flight "special", and by that they provided champagne, and first-class headphones.

I've had one disappointing experience and it was for the short-distance flight from NZ to AU. Because I am reasonably short, I asked a cabin crew to assist me with putting up my carry-on bag into the top compartment, but she replied with "If you can't do it, then I can't" -- no joke. She then continued on saying something about safety reasons, and I just didn't bother arguing back. I then had to ask a fellow passenger to help me, and he did so without refusal.

That was the only time I felt annoyed.

However, I do recommend them. I am travelling with Air NZ again this June to NZ!
