I found the Hoover DM5530 to be a really horrible machine. The main bone of contention is that the filters get clogged up too easily, even when you haven't covered a lot of carpet. They are also disgusting to clean - you have to have direct contact with the dust which goes everywhere. It's a heavy machine, and its wheels fall off.
